Road Trips are Epic

Denver to Chicago to Knoxville to St Louis to Denver in 5 days. Lets just say I don't want to be in the drivers seat of a car for the next couple of days. It was good to catch up with old friends, not a beat was missed. We spent 14 hours straight to get to Chicago, it was not so bad seeing how we split it up into 4 shifts. We then forced Bob to stay up the majority of the evening playing Durak, the Russian drinking games until an hour before he had to be at work. What else are friends for?
Chicago is an interesting city, a solid mix between the concrete jungles known as the Burroughs of NYC, and the park infested cities on the west coast like San Diego. The one thing I did not do was experience the deep dish while I was there.
Aldo and I continued to Knoxville, while John left on a plane for Denver. The solo mission ensued where exorbitant amounts of coffee, beef jerky and small conversations with gas station attendants were consumed. Indeed, it does get lonely on the road, but not enough to be caught dead in a rest stop with no doors on the stall.

Chicago

John and Aldo at a local bar in Chicago. There was money from many different countries tacked to the wall including Peru, Switzerland and Germany.
